Hi everyone,

​I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to share some difficult news about my dad, Erick Smith. Last September, he under went open heart surgery and soon after he developed an infection. He has since been cleared of the infection but now after having a EKG his doctors have informed us that he has a pin hole in one valve and a leaky valve that they previously replaced. He will need surgery again to fix these issues. 

​Anyone who knows my dad knows he is the first person to lend a hand to others. Now, he’s the one in need. While we are staying positive, the cost of the surgery and the follow-up care is more than our family can manage alone.

​We are aiming to raise 50,000 to cover:

• ​The surgical procedure and hospital stay.
• ​Post-operative medications and cardiac rehab.
• ​Travel and recovery expenses.
