Hi my name is Jim I'm a big guy and I'm a husband and father of three young active kids. I'm looking to purchase a mobility scooter that suits my everyday use. Unfortunately my insurance, Medicare, doesn't cover this type of scooter. I need something I can use around the neighborhood, to the park, grocery store, doing yard work, etc.

My issue is I can no longer walk. I need knees! I've been on a long journey of weight loss and injuries since 2018 when I first broke my leg. I did rehabilitation for over a year, and after the Dr said I would never walk again, I might lose my leg, I'll be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, I did it, I was walking with a cane. I went back to work. After 4 years of doing great and loosing weight to replace my knees, I stepped the wrong way and ended up breaking the same leg and knee again. This time it did put me in that wheelchair. But I'm wanting to be more active and get outside more. I'm sick of being depressed and I want to be outside more. 

I really need everyone's help. I'm on a fixed income now because I'm considered permanently disabled. But I really feel like if I could get this scooter that matches up with my current weight restrictions and type of use, I think I could do more, and well, quite frankly feel better about things.  

I'm 52 years old, I'm not dead yet,  I just want a chance to keep up with the kids, go to their football games, baseball games, go to the park with the dogs and not feel so couped up. 

I really appreciate anyone and amount that will help me get this scooter. It's called The Wrangler Baja 2. It really checks all the boxes for me, it's just way to expensive for me. I'm barely making bills as it is, there's just no way I could do this without some serious help.
