My Fight for Safety, Stability, and a Fresh Start

Hello, my name is Angela, and I am humbly reaching out for help as I navigate one of the most challenging times of my life.

After enduring domestic violence in my home, I made the incredibly difficult decision to remove my son from the household to protect myself and my family. Sadly, since taking that necessary step, I have faced ongoing retaliation that has led to serious legal challenges, emotional strain, and financial hardship. Despite the overwhelming stress, I remain committed to doing what’s right and ensuring a safe environment for myself and my loved ones.

In addition to the emotional and legal toll, I’ve suffered devastating financial losses. I was scammed out of $2,200 by a mechanic I trusted, who never completed the work. Then, in an attempt to secure reliable transportation, I purchased a vehicle for $3,000 — only for the transmission to fail just three weeks later, leaving me without a car and sinking even further into debt.

Now, in order to try and recoup some of these losses, I’m faced with additional legal expenses just to pursue action against those who took advantage of me. Unfortunately, I simply do not have the resources to cover these mounting legal fees, transportation costs, and basic living expenses on my own.

I have always tried to handle life’s challenges independently, but I’ve reached a point where I have no choice but to ask for help. Your generosity will not only help me recover from the financial setbacks but will also allow me to continue fighting for justice, stability, and a fresh start for myself and my family.
