Hi, my name is Christy Phillips. My best friend, Duke the dog, is having a very hard time. Anyone who knows Duke knows that he is the kindest, most caring dog ever.

Duke is more than just a dog. Duke is my whole world to me. I am their lifeblood. He is more precious than the stars and the moon. This dog is more than just a pet. He is my son.

Duke has been to four vets in the past four days. He doesn't feel well and doesn't feel right. One of the vets told me that Duke has anxiety. But I know in my heart that's not the case.

Long story short, Duke was diagnosed with aspiration pneumonia. This is a very tricky infection that requires the best possible treatment. Duke's parents spent $6,000 at different vets over the past four days.

Now, the animal hospital is asking for a $6,667 deposit to admit Duke for life-saving treatment.
