At this time we're asking for help from any who can offer anything. For the past 10 years, C's dad has taken us to court continually in an attempt to gain custody of her. While it has always failed, it is certainly apparent that he is taking advantage of his position of financial strength by continuing to file suit in an effort to bankrupt us into relinquishing custody. After spending over half a million over the course we're at the point where we no longer have the funds to fight. C continually asserts that she does NOT want to live with her father. As the primary custodian of her all her life, we can't imagine our home without her. The attorney fees are astronomical at this point with no apparent end in sight.
