I have been out of work for over a year waiting on back surgery. I have successfully recovered and returned to work after 2 hip replacements and a previous back surgery. This time has proven to be a challenge, not only the wait for the surgery but the alloted 8 months bed rest for recovery before I start physical therapy. My wife has kept our world in rotation but has recently suffered some health issues herself. Diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, her body sometimes can't do what the mind is telling it too and she struggles to do it all. We have a 12 year old daughter that deserves the world and is somehow grateful for what little she receives. We are behind on bills, my cars broken down and putting food on the table is not always a given. Sadly Im aware that this story is of the norm these days, hoping for a blessing if anyone feels led to do so. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
