Hello! My name is Ashley, and I am trying to help my dad support himself after recent medical emergencies that have left him unable to work. He has experienced multiple heart attacks, and his recent stroke has left him with very limited daily functions and an inability to drive or work. I'm a teacher and need help keeping him afloat while he is trying to regain enough function to hopefully return to work.

A little about my dad: He is 60, he worked as a delivery driver for Dunkin Donuts, and he is an AVID animal lover (dogs, cats, ferrets, and microsquirrels - yes, micro squirrels!) He has lived in TN his whole life, and he loves the Tennessee Titans and of course the Vols (GBO!).

We have started the process of trying to apply for disability and social security help; however, we have been told that the state is 18 months behind on applications. We are waiting for approval for Medicaid to help with insurance and medical expenses, so we are looking for other ways to help cover living costs. Any help would be a major blessing!
