Help Hernando’s Hideaway — Memphis’s Musical Landmark!

Dear friends and music supporters,

I’m Celine Lee, and with my husband Dale Watson, we’ve invested everything into Hernando’s Hideaway, a historic Memphis music venue opened in 2020. Our goal was to celebrate Memphis’s musical legacy with a space for live performances, events, and community gatherings.

Unfortunately, in March 2023, like many small businesses, we faced big challenges. More recently, our now previous management company caused our Liquor License to lapse. Despite Dale’s personal efforts to renew it, mismanagement and unpaid taxes have left us unable to operate normally. This has halted our reopening plans and our ability to support local musicians.

We’re seeking to raise $7,000 to restore our Liquor License and reopen Hernando’s Hideaway, so we can bring back live music, community, and Memphis’s rich musical spirit.
