My name is Jaysen Branch, and for the last two years, I’ve poured every cent and every hour of my life into building my own mobile detailing and pressure washing business here in Long Beach. I’ve worked out of my truck on Obispo Ave, serving this community and finally feeling like I was building a future for my family. But last week, that dream came to a grinding halt.
While headed to a job site, my truck’s engine suffered a catastrophic failure. This truck isn't just a vehicle to me; it’s my entire office, my warehouse, and my only way to earn a living. The repair estimate for a full engine replacement is more than I’ve made in the last six months combined.
The Crisis:
Without my truck, I can't carry my equipment. Without my equipment, I have no business. I’ve had to cancel two weeks of booked jobs already, and the bills for my business insurance and equipment leases are still coming in. I’m staring at a total collapse of everything I’ve worked so hard to build. We need $8,800 to:
Engine Replacement & Labor: To get the mobile unit back on the road.
Lost Income Bridge: To cover my basic home rent and utilities while the truck is in the shop.
Equipment Maintenance: To replace sensors and pumps that were damaged during the breakdown.
I’m a worker, not a beggar. It kills me to have to ask for help, but I’m not ready to give up on this dream. I’ve put too much sweat into this business to let a blown engine be the end of the story. If you can help me get back behind the wheel, I promise to keep paying it forward to this city I love. Any donation, large or small, helps me save my livelihood. Thank you for believing in a local hustler.
