I created this fundraiser to help my family. On August 3, 2024, our only vehicle's engine seized up and the repairs are estimated to cost around $3,500. Because we use our car for work, this puts us in a very tough spot. We were also told it would take a week and half to get the job done (repair shop has to order new engine, then also the time it takes to install it). Our family stays at hotel and we currently pay day by day, so to be out of a car means unfortunately we can't keep paying for the room. Because my family lost our apartment when our son was 6 months old, getting into a permanent place out here has been a difficult road, which is why we are currently staying in a hotel. The weather is going to be very hot (over 100°F) this coming week which is dangerous for anyone, but especially our 5 year old son, Caine. Tommorow (8/8/24) we have to leave the hotel by 12pm if we cannot pay. We've reached out to family, friends, and even churches but now we are in a difficult spot since we have not heard back from the church yet.

Your donations would go to helping us pay for our car to be repaired, allow us to have more time to stay out of the heat, and of course any essentials we might need while we wait for our vehicle to be fixed so we can go back to work.
