We’re reaching out for help due to a series of overlapping hardships that have put our family in a difficult position. My recent absences from work have led to overdue bills, and I’m unable to apply for FMLA. In October, LilyRose became ill and Justin had to take time off to care for her. Earlier, in July, I became sick myself and also had to switch companies after one of my clients passed away, leaving me without any accrued sick leave.

Since then, I’ve needed additional time off as my health issues have worsened. I’ve had frequent ER visits for severe, unexplained pain, and the lack of answers has only added to the stress. We’re hoping to raise enough by the end of December to cover rent and our outstanding bills.

Multiple medical setbacks since September—my pneumonia, our family’s severe flu, and the most recent ER visits—have made it incredibly hard for me to work consistently. We’re asking for help reluctantly, but we’re doing everything we can to stay afloat.
