My Ralph has been handicapped his entire life and lives on crutches. and a cart.  He relies on help and state help, but right now it s not enough.  He has macular degeneration and needs shots to maintain the limited sight he has now.  His insurance will not pay for the shots anymore and medicare is very limited.

Without the shots he will go blind.  Also he needs cataract surgery to maintain the limited sight he has.  He needs 1,800.00 for the surgery.

If he cannot see, the state will put in a state home not of his choice.  He has been indepenedent most of his life.  Going blind means he will be forced into a state home, in a area they choose.  

He will not be able to tolerate this especially being blind and may not last more than six months.
