About this fundraiser

Dear friends, family, and kind strangers,

Our beloved 4-pound dog, Pablo, is fighting for his life, and we need your help to afford his urgent veterinary care.

Pablo's Story

Four years ago, someone found little Pablo wandering the streets all alone. He was tiny, vulnerable, and already walking with a limp. We took him in, and he quickly became the heart of our family. Pablo is the love of our lives; this dog means so much to us. He is the sweetest little companion, full of love and life, and we can't imagine our home without him. He even sleeps in the bed with me every night. We love Pablo so much, and we don't want him to die.

The Crisis

We came home recently to find that Pablo wasn't his normal, spunky self. He was looking around, but not responding when we called his name, and all he wanted to do was lay on his bed. We knew he wasn't feeling well, and when my daughter came home and saw the blood, she immediately rushed him to the veterinarian hospital. He wanted me to hold him, so I picked him up and rocked him gently like a baby, trying to give him some comfort while we prepared to leave.

I was at my own doctor's appointment at the time but rushed to the pet hospital as soon as I was done. The vets discovered he has a serious medical issue that requires immediate surgery. The diagnosis is a severe stomach ulcer/foreign body requiring immediate surgical removal.]

The Financial Need

The initial emergency visit and stabilization costs have already been a strain, and the veterinarian has confirmed that the total cost for his life-saving surgery and recovery is approximately $7,000.

This total covers the entire procedure and the necessary hospitalization time. For a major surgery involving internal bleeding or a blockage, Pablo needs intensive care. We were told that every night he has to stay after surgery costs us $1,500 per night for the necessary monitoring, medications, and ICU care.

We have a breakdown of these costs from the vet:

Emergency Exam & Initial Stabilization

Diagnostics (Bloodwork, X-rays, Ultrasound)

Emergency Surgery (Procedure & Anesthesia)

Hospitalization & ICU Care ($1,500/night)

Medications & Supplies

Total Confirmed Cost: Approx. $7,000

This is a financial strain that we simply cannot manage on our own.

How You Can Help

We are humbly asking for your support to help us cover Pablo's medical bills and give him the fighting chance he deserves. Your donation will go directly to his treatment, medication, and recovery care.

Any amount, no matter how small, makes a difference.

If you are unable to donate, please share Pablo's story with your networks.

We are incredibly grateful for any support you can provide. Your kindness means the world to us and, more importantly, it means everything to Pablo.

With heartfelt thanks,
