I’m reaching out for support as I work to rebuild my life after eviction. Since then, I’ve been couch surfing between multiple toxic environments, trying to find stability. I’ve found some resources that could help with moving costs and other fees, but because of the eviction on my record, I don’t qualify for assistance.

I’m raising $8,000 to pay off this eviction debt so I can secure stable housing for myself and my pets. I have two dogs and a cat who are currently staying in a temporary place that’s okay for now but not ideal. They deserve a stable home just as much as I do, and I would love nothing more than to have us all back together again in a safe, comfortable space.

I am a hardworking, employed Black woman who has faced serious challenges but is determined to get back on my feet. My goal is not just to find stable housing but also to return to school and continue building a better future. I’ve been doing everything I can, but I need help to get over this obstacle.

I have a limited window to secure funding—if I can’t pay off this eviction debt in time, I will lose the chance to receive critical housing assistance.
