Ashley has been bravely battling gastroparesis, a debilitating condition that has left her in constant nausea and pain. After nearly three months of being out of work and only receiving local treatment that merely alleviated her symptoms, Ashley is finally heading to the Cleveland Clinic this January for a comprehensive assessment and treatment plan. This is a glimmer of hope for her recovery, but the journey is not without its challenges. Each hospital stay has resulted in temporary relief, not a cure, and with her recent gallbladder removal, Ashley is determined to find a lasting solution. Unfortunately, the road to recovery comes with significant financial burdens. With the cost of transportation, accommodations, and food for her trips to Cleveland, the expenses are mounting. On top of that, Ashley is on a costly medication that insurance only partially covers. We are reaching out to our community for support to help Ashley access the care she desperately needs. Every donation will go directly towards her travel expenses and medical costs, ensuring she can focus on her health without the added stress of financial strain. Together, we can help Ashley take this vital step towards regaining her health and quality of life. Thank you for your generosity and support!

Ashley Just had Another Hospital Stay
We are eagerly anticipating January 15 and Ashley’s upcoming appointment at the Cleveland Clinic, as it represents a glimmer of hope in her ongoing struggle. Despite her determination to return to work, Ashley continues to face overwhelming fatigue and requires increasing medical assistance. Recently, she experienced a significant flare-up of her gastroparesis, which led to another week-long hospital stay. The local medical team can only manage her symptoms, but this task is far more complex than it appears. Her gastrointestinal system has essentially stopped functioning, resulting in excruciating pain and persistent nausea. Currently, she can only manage to consume a single protein shake each day, and despite our repeated requests for supplemental IV nutrition, the doctors have consistently denied them because her lab results are normal.
Ashley's constant exhaustion and lack of energy have made her daily life incredibly challenging. The upcoming visit to the Cleveland Clinic is her best chance at regaining the ability to eat normally again, and we hold onto that hope tightly. The journey has been difficult, and we are deeply grateful for any support that can be offered during this difficult time. Each gesture of kindness means the world to us as we navigate this rough path together, striving for a brighter future for Ashley. Your understanding and compassion are invaluable as we face these trials, and we appreciate every bit of help we can receive.
