Hi, I’m Kendra.

I’m a photographer, designer, and lifelong creative. I started drawing and painting when I was young, and eventually discovered that a camera could be another way to tell stories and capture the world around me.

After graduating with honours from Sheridan College’s Applied Photography program, I’ve been working professionally in photography ever since. Today I work as a commercial photographer at St. Joseph Communications, where I’ve had the chance to photograph campaigns and projects for brands like Hyundai, Mazda, Subaru, Lexus, Toyota, Volkswagen, Sobeys, Shoppers Drug Mart, Bulk Barn, Bento Sushi, Joe Fresh, and Loblaws, among many others.

Outside of commercial work, I love photographing families, children, and weddings. I’ve also spent several years working alongside some of Toronto’s top wedding photographers as a second shooter, learning from incredibly talented people in the industry.

Creativity doesn’t stop for me when the workday ends. In my spare time I also work as a freelance designer, taking on projects that range from packaging design to logos and brand systems. After completing a Graphic Design Certificate at George Brown College, I’ve developed a creative process that blends photography, fine art, and design strategy to create visual work that’s thoughtful, expressive, and meaningful.
