Hello, my name is Thelma, and I am reaching out with a humble heart to share my story.

In October 2024, I was diagnosed with Stage lV B-cell Lymphoma, an aggressive cancer that has spread to my liver. This is not my first battle with cancer. Eight years ago, I fought and survived T-cell Lymphoma through conventional cancer treatments. While those treatments saved my life, they left behind devastating, permanent damage to my body.

This time, I am choosing a gentler, more life-preserving approach with Integrative/Holistic Cancer Therapy to fight this disease.

Unfortunately, integrative cancer therapies are incredibly expensive, costing anywhere from $100,000 to $150,000. My insurance only covers less than 50% of the costs, and the remainder must be paid out of pocket. I have already cashed out my life insurance policy to help cover some expenses, but it is not enough. To receive these treatments, I will also need to relocate 75 miles from my hometown for a minimum of 3-6 months.

How You Can Help

I am humbly seeking to raise $65,000 to cover:

• $40,000 for cancer treatments still needed.

• $25,000 for lodging, transportation, food, insurance copays, and caregiving support during my treatment journey.

This has been a challenging experience for me, not just physically but emotionally and financially. Asking for help – especially from kind-hearted people and strangers online – is a humbling step. But I firmly believe it is God’s will for me to lean into my faith and the support of others during this time of need.
