Capone is a 3 year old service pet for our son Kaleb who is 15. On Thursday of Last week 10/31  Capone back legs  stopped working we took him to 3 vets before we could even get an explanation of what was wrong. The vet in Jenison Michigan revealed that he has a spinal cord injury mid way down his back, then we find out he has a hereditary degenerative disc disease that frenchies are born with but he had never had any issues until now he is a healthy dog happy dog. But we have asked how this could have happened and they said him jumping off the couch or the bed could have did this bc he had the disc disease and we never knew. So the next steps are an mri done to see if surgery is possible to fix his condition. We have applied for care credit, credit cards, a loan, scratch pay we have tried everything. We are begging for help as we have no more options this isn’t just a dog he is our son my sons bestfriend idk what we will do if we have to put him to sleep he doesn’t deserve that. We didn’t know we bought a dog that had a genetic disease that he was born with and now it’s progressed bc he jumped!!! We appreciate everyones help in this matter in advance. We truly treat our fur babies as our kids💙  

The mri is 5k then the surgery is 5/6k as well even if you have information that could help us plz feel free to reach out.

My husband was in a bad car accident in June leaving him with 2 fractures in his back and has been unable to work for the past 4 months, then my kids were in a roll over accident in August leaving Kaleb in a different state of mind and numerous injuries, I was hit in an accident in September totaling my car so as far as bad luck we have had it and has caused a financial hardship and us utilizing our savings for bills.
