In September 2025 I allowed a family to move in with me. It didn't take long to realize that I had made a mistake in trusting them and the environment became so abusive that I had to flee my home and stay with my daughter while I go through the eviction process. 

One of the children left my water hose running for a few days and my water bill is now over a thousand dollars. The parents refused to take responsibility for the bill. I am left to pay for all of the utilities.

I am on a fixed income and the water department will not help me to keep the water on for these kids. I don't want them to be without while they are still living under my roof because they need to have access to water.
