About this fundraiser

Bob is sick. Very sick.

Bob is our three year old foster fail. He and his sister Rose were born into a hoarding situation of over 100 cats. They came to us sick, scared, and miserable. A lot of love and time later, anyone that meets Bob falls in love.

We noticed a week ago that Bob was losing weight. A quick weigh in (weigh your cats monthly at least! Trust me!) showed that Bob had lost a pound in less than a month. He was already a small cat, weighing in at 8lbs at his heaviest, so this was immediately concerning. He also had a recent history of severe fatigue and overall just had no energy. Our playful, crazy cat had turned into a stationary fixture on the cat tree for most of the day.

We rushed him to our vet who discovered he had a temperature of 104°F, the weight loss we had discovered, and muscle atrophy in both of his back legs. They ordered bloodwork and a urinalysis, both of which came back abnormal and concerning.

The results aren't good. The two biggest concerns are cancer and dry FIP. However, we need another test (Fever of Unknown Origins blood test) that we just cannot afford right now before we can start any sort of treatment or make any next steps.

We just want Bob to get better so here we are. Any donations will go straight to Bob and his mounting medical expenses. I am also more than willing to show any receipts/results available!
