On October 11, 2025, my husband, Brandin, was involved in a horrific accident on GA-400 North near Exit 15 in Cumming, Georgia. A gray Ford F-150 rear-ended a Kia at high speed, causing the Kia to flip and roll across the highway directly in front of Brandin. In a split second, he was forced to make an impossible decision: crash into the rolling vehicle—or take evasive action at 65–70 mph. Brandin chose to steer into the guardrail rather than collide with the Kia, believing that hitting them could have killed the people inside. As a result of Brandin’s actions, he suffered a severe concussion, a herniated C5 disc, bone fragments in his neck, and significant mental and emotional trauma. Despite the extent of the damage—and despite mechanics stating the Jeep should have been totaled due to structural damage and rust in the frame—the insurance company put the vehicle back on the road. Then, on January 26, 2026, tragedy struck again. While driving to a gas station, a piece of the Jeep’s frame broke, causing Brandin to lose control of the vehicle. The Jeep veered off the road, experiencing steering failure. He narrowly missed a telephone pole and a massive rock boulder before being launched off a dirt ramp and crashing head-first into a large dirt embankment. Brandin suffered another, even more severe concussion, a right shoulder injury, and worsening mental trauma. We have retained legal representation, but medical bills are coming directly out of pocket. Brandin’s health insurance is refusing to cover treatment related to either accident, and auto insurance has not paid anything at this point. To put things into perspective: -A single CT scan of his neck cost $600 -Doctors ordered two scans (with and without contrast), totaling $1,200 -Brandin could not afford the second scan Since the second accident, Brandin has been unable to work. His employer is a small, locally owned business and does not offer disability benefits. He is now struggling to cover medical care, medications, and basic living expenses while he tries to recover. This GoFundMe was created to help cover: -Medical treatments and imaging -Medications -Therapy and follow-up care -Basic expenses while Brandin is unable to work If you are able to donate, share, or keep Brandin in your prayers, we are deeply grateful. Every bit of support means more than we can put into words. Thank you for taking the time to read our story. God bless you.
