About this fundraiser

This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.

For most of my life, I’ve been the person others could rely on — working, providing, and handling whatever came our way. But over the past year, a series of events hit our family all at once, and despite doing everything I could, we are now facing the very real risk of losing our home.

Last year, I became the primary caregiver for my aunt during her final months. She was family, and there was never a question about stepping in to help her through that time. Caring for her meant putting work and income on hold far more than expected. When she passed, we were still trying to emotionally and financially recover from that loss.

Shortly afterward, I experienced my own medical issues that caused me to lose additional work time. Multiple doctor visits, treatment, and recovery made it impossible to maintain consistent income during a period when we were already stretched thin. The combination of caregiving, grief, and health setbacks created a financial gap that grew faster than we could realistically catch up from.

We are not asking for a handout — we are asking for temporary help during an overwhelming season.

Our home is more than just a house. It’s where our family has built our life, where memories were made, and where we are trying to regain stability and move forward. With support, we can cover urgent expenses, stop the immediate threat to our home, and give ourselves the breathing room needed to get fully back on our feet.

Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement means more than we can put into words. If you’re unable to give, simply sharing this fundraiser helps more than you know.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for your compassion, and for standing with our family during one of the hardest chapters we’ve faced.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you.
