Almost 13 years ago, in July 2012, Jeff Galyean received a diagnosis that would change everything – a rare tumor on his sacrum called hemangiopericytoma. Since then, Jeff has been in a relentless battle facing this illness with unwavering strength, faith, and resilience.

Over the years, he has undergone multiple surgeries, radiation, and continuous chemotherapy (both oral and IV) treatments that are still ongoing today. Every 2-3 months, Jeff travels to MD Anderson in Houston for scans, tests, and consultations with specialists. These trips are vital to managing his condition, but they come at a high financial and emotional cost.

As if cancer weren’t enough, Jeff suffered a major heart attack two years ago – a medical emergency that he miraculously survived. While his resilience is nothing short of inspiring, the combination of years of chemo, medications, and extensive travel for treatment has added significant pressure on the family – physically, emotionally, and financially.

Through it all, Jeff has never lost his hope or fighting spirit. He continues to show up with courage and humility, leaning on his faith and his family. We’ve watched Jeff and his wife, Beth, carry this immense weight with quiet strength, but the reality is, the ongoing medical bills, travel expenses, and cost of care have become overwhelming.

That’s why we – his family and friends – are organizing this fundraiser: to help ease some of the financial pressure and allow Jeff and Beth to focus on what matters most.
