my name is Norma the mother of Delany long story short she was detected with hydrocephalus druing my pregnancy an she has gone thrrough two surgery’s in just short time she’s an 11 month bby . Hydrocephalus is a life-altering, life-threatening condition caused by an abnormal accumulation of cerebral spinal fluid, resulting in pressure on the brain most common treatment for this condition is brain surgery to implant a device called a shunt, which has a 50-percent failure rate in children within the first two years A shunt is not a cure as many patients endure multiple brain surgeries throughout their lifetime the shunt could fail at any moment. my baby will need another surgery due to the shunt that has failed she had an MRI done an they detect that it wasn’t working an her head is growing again having pressure an due to that she will be going int surgery again this will be her 3 surgery This is why I have created this fundraiser and also why I need your support.
