In the early hours of Christmas morning, our family experienced the heartbreaking loss of Daniel Aud — a devoted husband, father, son, brother. 

Daniel loved nothing more than his wife, Brooklyn, and their five-year-old son, Neo. He cherished every moment with them. Some of his favorite times were the simple ones — looking forward to building Legos with Neo and teaching him all about playing Pokémon. His love for his family was clear in everything he did.

Since Daniel’s passing, Brooklyn has been facing both unimaginable grief and unexpected challenges. Due to delays in receiving important documents, she has been unable to finalize certain necessary matters. Bills that Daniel and Brooklyn once managed together — including their house payment, utilities, insurance, and everyday household expenses — are now her responsibility alone.

I felt led to organize this fundraiser, because I see the daily weight Brooklyn is carrying while grieving the loss of her husband and trying to care for Neo. This support will help ease some of the financial pressure while Brooklyn navigates the difficult months ahead.
