Support the Family Who Gave Everything to Care for the Man Who Gave So Much to the World 

With deep sadness and overwhelming love, we share the passing of Tomi Silver — known to so many around the world as Tom Silver, “TV’s Favorite Hypnotist.” Tom passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by the people who loved him most. 

Tom wasn’t just a celebrated hypnotherapist. He was a visionary in the field of subconscious healing, a man whose voice, insight, and compassion helped transform thousands of lives. His groundbreaking techniques, television appearances, and international workshops brought healing and hope to people from all walks of life. His work helped clients conquer fears, manage pain, overcome trauma, and reconnect with their deepest sense of self. 

But to those of us who knew him personally, Tom was so much more than his professional legacy. He was warm, funny, deeply intuitive and had a profound love for music. One of his greatest joys was playing the saxophone. Whether he was performing for others or simply playing for the joy of it, music was his sanctuary, a way to express emotion and find peace. It was part of his soul, just like his desire to help others. The same passion he brought to his healing work flowed through every note he played. 

And while Tom touched the lives of many, his greatest bond was with his family. The ones who stood beside him through every twist and turn of his illness. His wife, my mother, was his rock. A devoted partner who became his full-time caregiver and constant companion. I, his stepdaughter, was honored to help care for him as his condition worsened. Together, we walked this path with him hand-in-hand, through every appointment, sleepless night, and moment of uncertainty. 

Tom and my mom got engaged shortly before he received his diagnosis. Because of how quickly everything changed, traditional life insurance was not an option. And from that moment on, our family poured all of our time, energy, and resources into supporting his care and comfort. Neither of us was able to work consistently, everything we had was focused on Tom. We didn’t think twice. 

Now, with his passing, we face a future filled with grief, uncertainty, and the echoes of a life lived fully and beautifully. My mom, at 62, is navigating not only the heartbreak of losing her soulmate, but also the financial realities that come with years spent in caregiving. It is in this spirit and with hearts full of humility that we are asking for help. 

We’ve created this Support fund to: 

- Cover cremation and memorial costs to honor Tom in the way he deserves 

- Support my mother during this deeply painful transition 

- Preserve and share Tom’s teachings, tools, and music to ensure that his legacy continues to uplift and heal others for generations to come
