My mom has been my best friend forever. I may be a grown woman with kids of my own (who are old enough to have their own kids) but I can not imagine a world with my mom.
She has the rarest strain of leukemia, that there isn't a lot of information out there on how to treat it. She beat it 4 years ago, and had been living her best life since her and her beloved Murphy (King Charles cavalier/havanese) moved into their new apartment.
However, now that she can't work, she doesn't know how she's going to pay her bills, let alone the insane experience of the treatment.
I know I hate asking for help, but she hates it even more! But short of standing on the side of the road with a cardboard sign in my hand, I don't know what more I can do! 🥴
