When Janelle shared her health journey with me in 2023, we had hoped it was something that could be taken care of in office. 

A diagnosis of serious cancer is not what anyone would have expected.

Janell worried about the medical bills because, they have no medical insurance. My immediate thought was let's do a fundraiser, if it's okay with you Janell and Jason?

Close family and friends have encouraged me to share my experience to help others who are diagnosed with Cancer. I hope by sharing my story, I can impress on other women how important the pap smear test is. Make it a priority even when you have no reason to suspect you are sick. Dont assume light daily spotting is hormones and/or menopause. I did. I grew weaker and weaker all summer blaming my neck injury, pinched nerves. Not once did I think it was anything more than hormones. I figured once my cycles stopped then I would go see and have it confirmed I had completed menopause. I wasn't working many hours and I just didnt have the cash to go twice and we had no medical insurance. Just didn't have the cash . We tell ourselves this. Scrape it together ladies. Put your health first. Men, if you love your wife, make it your priority to make sure she does this. Dont make her come home and hear her say "I have cancer".

Jay had time to think about what life would be like without me when I went home. It sucked. He didnt want to loose me. He promised to do whatever it took and no amount of money is too much to save me. I cannot even begin to tell you how much he has been here for me, every little thing he does. I am so fortunate to have such loving support from him, my family, and my closest friends who have been with me along this road.
