My daughter, Nasya, is a vibrant 11 year old honor student, student of the year nominee, and cheerleader. She deserves any and everything that will help her to live a quality life. Right now, that’s correcting her jaw. Nasya has a congenital condition called Mandibular prognathism. This causes her bottom jaw to stick out farther than her top jaw. It affects about 1% of children. This condition can cause a number of dental health issues including dental wear and tear, chewing difficulties and speech problems. So you see, it is important that we get this corrected. Her dentist and orthodontist both agree that it needs to be corrected as soon as possible and they want to move forward THIS SUMMER! However, there is no way that our family of 7 can afford 11k in such a short amount of time. We need 5k at the time of the procedure and insurance will not pay anything at all. This procedure will not only boost Sya’s confidence, but it will also prevent her from having to get a more invasive surgery at a later age.
