In October I was struck by a truck while working off the side of the road. Gratefully this resulted in only a fracture the bottom of my left fibula. Surgery was 3 pins in my ankle. My insurance and the at fault company is able to pay most of the bills. I am still in the process of collecting funds from my agency which is pursuing underinsured funds.  I will be obtaining an attorney to attempt to recover addtitonal compensation for pain and suffering. Any funds donated will help cover additional therapy.

What some of you don't know is I had a tumor removed from my bladder in February, which turned out to be cancerous. Unfortunately the cancer spread to my pelvis and hips. The cancer is on and in the bones and not on any organs. I am currently walking with a cane and have limited mobility.

Medicare has been able to cover a large extent of the medical bills, but with the total treatment now at over $80,000 my bill is currently about $4,700.  I still have two more treatments and possibly more radiation.
