My brain surgery to remove the cyst went very well. We were expecting a 6 to 8 hour surgery time and they were closing up in 2 hours. I have not been dizzy or unstable while walking and my appetite is good. My pain is manageable, it hurts the most along the right side of my neck where the surgeon cut the muscle to gain access to the cyst. The Lord is so good! Thank you all so much for the prayers. I know all things are for His glory and what a wonderful testimony I have.

About this fundraiser

UPDATE:  1/16/24

It was just amazing to see how many have been praying and have donated to help pay for my previous medical expenses.  Thank you all so very much for the support!

I was able to purchase health insurance and it will cover a lot of expenses, but there will still be a deductible and monthly costs like car insurance and my cell phone bill.  I will not be able to work for approximately 2 to 4 months.

My brain surgery date is scheduled for February 1st in Bryan/ College Station.  We have to be there at 5:30AM, for an approximate 7:00AM surgery start time.

ORIGINAL POST

Hi everyone - my name is Jett and I am 19-years-old.  Most of you know that when I'm not studying or working with bees, I love working out and even competing in Tough Mudder competitions.  I've lived under God's blessing and I'm so grateful for the life He has given me.

That life, however, has gotten challenging...more challenging than any class, workout, or competition.

It started with the headaches a year ago, headaches that cause me daily pain, and daily pain has meant a harder time studying, working, and an end to my workout and competition routines.  This pain has left me unable to live the life that I've loved so much.

After two trips to the emergency room, a CT scan and two MRI's, a large brain cyst has been revealed that is putting massive pressure on my brain stem.  My neurosurgeon has not determined the best course of action, but hopes to after the next office visit that is coming up on November 13th.

As you can imagine, medical costs are mounting and so I'm asking for your help.  We believe that God works miracles and that He uses His people to do so.  If you can donate towards my medical expenses, that would be awesome, but even more awesome is your connection to God, in prayer, on my behalf.  We are believing for a complete healing and ask that you stand with us in faith, trust, and love.
