    ✨ Exciting Update ✨

Due to some unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to take a different direction with a new trainer and plan. While this transition has been stressful at times, we’ve seen God’s hand in every single bit of it!

We are so excited to share that we’ve officially been matched with a wonderful puppy and a new trainer who feels like the perfect fit for our family. What started as an unexpected challenge has turned into such a blessing. From finding the right dog (when we weren’t even planning to look!) to being led to a trainer who truly understands our needs, God has clearly been guiding every step.

The best part? This new path will actually lower our overall fundraising goal! We will still need to have all funds in place before service training begins, but this change is such an answered prayer—both medically and financially for our family.

We’ll be updating our donation goals soon, but everything else remains the same. We’re making progress, trusting God’s timing, and so excited to see how He continues to move through this journey. 💜🐾

Thank you all for your continued prayers, love, and support. Every share, donation, and word of encouragement means more than we could ever express!

    ✨ New goals ✨
💰275 left to pay for our little guy here
    💰7500 for training

    Give God some praise 🙌🏼

About this fundraiser

Hi! My name is Kayla or Kay as some know me, and I am an epilepsy and chronic illness survivor. I have 5 beautiful, smart and caring children, a wonderful, loving, and supportive husband and I own my own professional photography business.

I have battled multiple chronic illnesses for 7 or so years and recently received my epilepsy diagnosis after several years of testing. These illnesses have tried to steal my freedom and I’m fighting hard and taking my life back. In my most recent months I have had to step back from my work which is a huge passion of mine, I am not allowed to drive (I have 5 children and that is proving very difficult), and I often times can’t be alone due to my severe symptomatic days.

With that said, our search for a healing resolution is still on but until then, I am working to raise funds to be able to work with our wonderful trainer and begin the process of training a medical alert dog. This dog will literally be my soul dog. My own form of life support. My service dog will be trained to alert me to oncoming seizures or cardiac episodes, retrieve medications, get help both at home and in public spaces, help me during and after seizures or cardiac episodes and more.. I will be able to take more of my freedom back, lessen the burdens on my family, and feel safer. Life isn’t the same anymore and that’s okay. However, no one should have to live as fearful as we do daily.

I sincerely appreciate any support and prayers during this journey.
