My name is Kevin Shaver, and I am writing to whom it may concern. during one of the hardest moments of my life. About three weeks ago, I was injured at work and tore a ligament in my knee. While being treated in the emergency room, doctors discovered that my hip is severely damaged and now requires a full hip replacement. Because of this, I have been unable to work and support my family. I have repeatedly contacted Workers’ Compensation but have received no responses or assistance, leaving me completely without income. I have reached out to churches and local organizations as well, but unfortunately have found no help. I am now facing eviction from my apartment and the very real possibility of becoming homeless while trying to recover from surgery. I am the father of two young boys, and my biggest fear is not being able to provide food or stability for them during this time. . but I am truly out of options..
