My name is Hollie Temple. I am 56 years old old.  I have been diabetic since I was 10.  I have been on dialysis for 4 years. I go to a clinic 3 times per week and sit in a chair for 4 hours with 2 needles in my arm. They are connected to the dialysis machine with tubing.   My blood runs through the machine and is cleaned. This takes the place of my kidneys.  This is saving my life yet isn’t good for my other organs. I have had heart problems and a vast array of other illnesses as a result of being on dialysis.

I hope to have a kidney transplant in the near future So that I may live a longer life without kidney failure.   I also need a kidney.  All the donors medical expenses will be covered by insurance. 
The funds that I am hoping to raise would cover the cost of lodging in Portland, money for gas and I’m sure to have more expenses that are not covered by insurance.   A donation of any amount would be greatly appreciated!
