We’re coming together to support an incredible man, Mike Kilfoy, who has spent his life showing up for everyone around him. As Mike navigates late-stage Parkinson’s and is now under hospice care, the medical and day-to-day costs have grown far beyond what insurance can cover.

Mike and Mary planned carefully for retirement, never imagining a diagnosis like this—or the overwhelming financial strain that comes with it. In addition to specialized Parkinson’s equipment not covered by hospice, Mike requires 24-hour care—an entirely out-of-pocket expense that has rapidly exhausted the retirement and savings they worked their whole lives to build. Their daughter is helping in every way she can, but the burden is simply too much for the family to shoulder alone.
