One of my dearest friends from high school to which I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to have shared life with all these years,  even when we lived in different states we still found time to be in each other‘s weddings, be there for each other when we had children. It’s been a wonderful friendship That has continued to grow. she lost her husband a few short years ago to a sudden heart attack, made a move across the country to start over and happily landed in the great state of Florida close to me. We were so excited as we both made this move within just a few months of each other. However, Life has kicked her once again, after a year and a half of trying to start a new life cancer has taken over her life. My beautiful friend has been diagnosed with stage four breast cancer, She is being a champion and fighting this with all that she has however, the chemo has now caused her to go into heart failure, so another battle that she is facing. Again, she is doing this with a smile on her face and a beautiful attitude. she truly amazes me how each day she wakes up, smiling, and laughing, trying to navigate all of the hurdles in front of her. When you hear the word cancer, you’re scared to death and then to think that you’re completely alone it’s even scarier. I honestly don’t know how she has done it! I have Been with her the last week helping her along with life and seeing what she needs seeing how I can help and sometimes it’s just to sit  and laugh and sometimes it’s to help her do laundry, cook a meal or just give her a hug and tell her it’s all going to be OK. This morning I woke up and thought about a GoFundMe account. If there’s any time in life something like this could be useful. It’s now.the stress she is under…getting by day-to-day is overwhelming. not being able to work trying to pay bills and each day the medical bills are piling on top of one another. I can’t imagine this fear. so I’m asking for help for my friend, any donation will help her. I hate seeing her sick and then seeing her so overwhelmed with finances has torn me up! No one should have to do this alone! thank you for your love and help, I promise you anything will make a difference in her life!
