About this fundraiser

Hello Family and Friends,

2025 marks my 18th year with MS.  This year has been very challenging due to a fall that resulted in two compression fractures and the progression of MS symptoms in my legs.

I am excited to announce that I will be traveling to Medellin, Columbia to BioXcellerator for a medical stem cell treatment, specific MS protocol. This will consist of two five-day visits to the clinic 3 – 6 months apart. My sister Libby will be joining me on this adventure.

When I had stem cell treatment in 2019, they used stems cells from my body. This procedure helped me recover from a relapse, improved my mobility, increased my quality of life and gave me hope for recovery.   Click on the link to see video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-oGmThWOF4

The procedure I will be having in the next few months uses stem cells derived from umbilical cords that are culture expanded. These mesenchymal stem cells demonstrate healing properties that boost the body’s natural repair processes, helps to repair damage, and fight disease. I am very hopeful that this will help me heal from recent setbacks.

I will be funding the majority of the treatment but have set up an account with
Give a Hand fundraising as people have told me they would like to contribute.
The donations I receive will be used for travel and additional medical expenses.

I am looking forward to sharing this adventure with you.

Thank you for your love and support.
