Garrett King is a professional horseman, respected and successful Missouri Fox Trotting Horse trainer, and a friend to many.  In early April, 2024, Garrett sustained an injury to his knee which resulted in two (2) separate surgeries with the last surgery performed late June, 2024.  The recovery is a long process coupled with hours of physical therapy required for months to come.

As we are aware, a horse trainer's income comes directly from hours of hard work, devoted passion, and discipline.  A horse trainer's livelihood depends directly on their ability to ride and train horses.  A successful horse trainer has a unique personality characteristic which drives the mind to believe injuries will never happen to them yet this time, a significant injury happened to Garrett.

Imagine, one day preparing client horses for the upcoming show season and the next day, out of work, no income for months in the future.  We all would be worried about the financial impact let alone the healing process.

PLEASE CONSIDER A DONATION to help our friend, Garrett King, with the costs associated with  his medical disability.  Any amount of donation is greatly appreciated and every penny will make a difference to Garrett King and his family.  Note:  All donor funds will be going directly to the beneficiary (Garrett and Michele King).

TOGETHER WE can ease the financial burden due to Garrett's unexpected injury.

Praying for a full recovery and we thank you for your kind generosity and consideration.

(This wonderful idea to support Garrett & his family  was generated from several MFT friends - I, Sarah McCoin, simply set up the fundraiser on the Give A Hand website).
