My niece's husband was left paralyzed by a doctor in Guatemala at the age of 32. After many years of immobility and inadequate care, he has developed cancer in his finger. He needs an amputation surgery, but unfortunately the only public hospital in Guatemala refuses to perform it because he requires special care.
