This fundraiser is for my wife, Staci — a woman who has poured so much of herself into our family, our children, and into me. She has always been an active, hardworking mother and a dedicated partner. But over the past two years, her life has been forever changed by a series of unexpected medical challenges.

What started as minor discomfort in her left foot slowly progressed until it became difficult for her to remain active. After consulting with an excellent podiatrist, surgery was recommended to correct the underlying issue.

Before the scheduled procedure could take place, Staci slipped on icy stairs and suffered a femur fracture. Because of this accident, her surgery had to be moved up and became far more extensive than originally planned.

Since then, Staci has endured two major surgeries, including the insertion of a metal rod, a plate, and 20 screws. Although the surgeries corrected the bone issues, she continues to struggle with ongoing pain and complications affecting her foot and ankle. Her healing has been slow and incredibly challenging — physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Despite the financial strain these past few years, God has been faithful and has carried us through. Now, I want to give something back to Staci — something that will bring hope, independence, and joy back into her days. 

For someone who once thrived on being active and outdoors, this long recovery has been discouraging. Even though we now live in a walkable area in Virginia with beautiful bike trails, Staci is unable to walk more than a short distance. Her limited mobility has greatly affected her quality of life and her morale.

💛 Why We’re Asking for Help

My goal is to purchase an electric tricycle for Staci. This would allow her to safely enjoy the outdoors again, regain some independence, and take part in the beauty of the community around us while she continues healing. It would give her a sense of freedom she’s been without for far too long.

I know times are tough for everyone, and I’m asking only for what you can give. Truly, even the smallest gift helps. The Lord can make a little go a long way.
