Hello everyone,

My name is Dasani Clements and the dog pictured is my emotional support dog, Opie. In January 2024, my life completely changed with me being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (a chronic disease that damages the protective coating of nerve fibers in the brain and spinal cord), on top of having type 1 diabetes and other health conditions.

Before I became sick, I was employed at three jobs, working 7 days a week, 12-14 hour shifts, which MS took me from working, and I’m currently waiting on the long disability process. I’m still working to process having MS and dealing with all of my health issues at once. It took me a while to make this GoFundMe because I really wasn’t the type of person to ask for financial help from others if I was able to find a way myself, but with the end of my lease coming up and no answer yet from disability, I am hoping for assistance with renewing my lease, the second half of the security deposit, and the first month’s rent.
