UPDATE:
May we all lift Rebecca and Justin in prayer and love during this incredibly difficult time. We are inspired by their faith and grateful that they are experiencing the love, support, and prayers of so many. Thank you to all who continue to be present for them in their time of need - you are loved and appreciated. See below for the recent update from Rebecca:
My husband and I would like to sincerely thank each and every person who has supported us, prayed for us, and helped us on this challenging journey with our daughter Ruth.
Ruth MaeGrace Watters
(3/25/25 @ 6:11am - 4/14/25 @ 8:18am)
Ruth was born with multiple serious and rare complications. She fought hard and we saw God work in amazing and miraculous ways all along her journey. There is so much we could say about who she was and all of the blessings the Lord has and continues to pour out on us. Yesterday we received news that overnight Ruth became very very sick. Her doctors did everything they could but it was the Lord’s perfect and gracious plan to take her home this morning. In the midst of everything yesterday, the Lord laid the hymn, “Blessed Assurance” on my heart. We thank God for the time we had with her but thankful she is safe in the arms of Jesus.
We both want to thank you all again for the outpouring of prayers, love, and support not just for Ruth but also for us!
Psalm 100; Ephesians 3:20-21
Dear Friends and Family,
We are setting up a fundraiser to support our beloved friends, Rebecca, Justin, and their miracle baby, Ruth MaeGrace. Ruth was born prematurely at just over 30 weeks and is now almost two weeks old. Rebecca has shared how faithfully God has been with them every step of the way, and how perfect His timing is, as promised in Psalm 71:6.
Ruth was born with multiple complications and has already undergone several procedures and surgeries. Despite the challenges, Rebecca and Justin are holding on to God's power and peace, trusting that He will guide them through each moment. They are incredibly grateful for the continuous prayers and support they’ve received during this difficult time.
In addition to the prayers, we are prayerfully setting up this fundraiser to help with the mounting medical and travel expenses. Ruth has a long journey ahead at Children’s Hospital, and this precious family is traveling back and forth frequently. On top of this, they will need to relocate their place of residence within the next month and are urgently looking for another place to live.
If you feel led to give, any contribution would be a blessing to help ease some of the financial burdens they are facing. Your prayers, encouragement, and support mean the world to Rebecca, Justin, and Ruth as they navigate these challenges.
Thank you so much for lifting up this family in prayer and for any help you can provide. Together, we can surround them with love and support during this incredibly trying time.
With gratitude,
Beloved friends asking on behalf of Rebecca and Justin
