Yesterday, our mother had a stroke and is currently in the neuro ICU. Through testing they have discovered other medical issues so her recovery will be a long process.

Mom had a stroke that has affected her ability to speak as stated. She also has a large abdominal aneurysm, a thoracic aneurysm, diabetes and thyroid disease. She is stable and has chosen to go on with palliative care. She is still in the hospital but we are expecting to go to rehab soon to get her strength back and hopefully more words. Thank you for the donations which will go to things that insurance won't cover to make it possible to go home and be with family.
