My name is Rebecca Young, I’m a mother of three soon to be four children living in the coastal area of Florence Oregon. My family and I have been residents of Florence for a few years now and have enjoyed our experience living here so far. We moved here to get a fresh start after experiencing some very hard times and traumatic events in our home state (Montana). Since living here we have worked hard to make ends meet, despite not having any family members in the area and a very small support network. 
 

when I found out I was pregnant I was told I would be a high risk pregnancy because of my chronic hypertension and blood pressure issues. It was advised that I should cut down on my work hours or resign from my position entirely to better take care of myself, however this was not an option for me due to lack of resources and support to pay bills and uphold the living expenses of a family. Now that I am farther along in my pregnancy, the concerns about my health have increased and I am still struggling to find a way to make ends meet. 

my goal is to make it to full term so that I can welcome a healthy, fully developed child into the world with as few interventions and complications as possible. It is not easy for me to ask for help, but I am accepting the fact that I might have to in order to support my family in case I am not able to continue working for the duration of my pregnancy and the recovery time that will come after I give birth. The amount I am aiming to raise will allow me to keep up on our monthly rent for at least a couple of months, which is the most important thing at this time.
