The Field family are no strangers to the trials and tribulations of cancer. Roger was first diagnosed in 2018 and has been battling since. In 2024, Alicia herself received a cancer diagnosis. Please take a moment to read the raw and vulnerable truth that Alicia shared. If you are unable to donate financially at this time, would you please consider sharing?
Welcome to FieldStrong.
Since 2018, Roger has been going toe to toe with cancer. In the middle of that fight, I walked through my own cancer diagnosis as well. It hasn’t been easy, but it has shaped us in ways we never expected.
We never imagined we would be here again — but here we are.
Roger has been diagnosed with metastatic basaloid squamous cell carcinoma. He will begin nearly four months of chemotherapy, followed by proton radiation at the New York Proton Center in Harlem.
We understand the appointments.
The waiting rooms.
The side effects.
The emotional weight that lingers long after you leave the hospital.
What many don’t see are the quiet moments at home — trying to stay strong for each other while processing the unknowns.
We aren’t sharing this for pity. We are sharing it because community matters. Prayer matters. Encouragement matters. And yes, sometimes practical support matters too.
We didn’t choose this road, but we will walk it the only way we know how — together.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for standing with us.
