Michael was diagnosed with Malignant Mesothelioma in September. It has been a race to get him life saving surgery in time and set up for treatment as soon as we get home. We live in NC and Michael had his surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center PA. The funds raised will go toward current expenses (getting  home) as well as future copay’s and coinsurance for continuing treatment. This has come as such a shock to us but we are doing whatever we can to ensure a longer life span than many other mesothelioma patient’s. Michael also donated tissue samples for use for research to help future mesothelioma patients.
