About this fundraiser

After fighting for five months with Alaska State for my medical waiver, I have depleted all assets I have and I’m to the point of being destitute. I live in a rural area and it cost $69 round-trip for transportation to dialysis. I go three times a week for life-saving treatment. I have a specific time that I need to go and if I’m not there, my chair is given to someone else. Please help me get back-and-forth to dialysis during my scheduled time. At this point in time, I will have to stop my treatments if I cannot get any help. I where I live is an issue. I cannot get the usual rides such as anchor rides or a bus line. This creates an issue where I have to pay more for transportation than an average person would. If I had Medicaid, the transportation would be free. I have waited six months and will probably wait six more months at this point. I really don’t know what’s going to happen. I just need to keep going to dialysis for my health.
