My name is Ali Fahad, and today I am reaching out with the deepest humility and hope. I have been battling a confusing, painful, and worsening health journey for over a decade and right now, I’m fighting not just for myself, but for the chance to stay alive, stay present, and stay strong for my five beautiful daughters.

A Decade of Pain With No Clear Answers

My struggle began years ago when I was bitten by a tick and developed a rash shaped like multiple target rings a classic sign of Lyme disease. Shortly after, my body began to change:

Numbness

Severe fatigue

Loss of balance and coordination

Doctors eventually diagnosed me with multiple sclerosis (MS) after finding lesions on my brain and spine. But something has never made sense:

I have not developed any new lesions in years… yet my symptoms continue to worsen.

Every day feels like a battle in the dark not knowing what’s happening inside my body, not knowing which disease is truly destroying my health, and not knowing how much time I have before things get worse.

Why I’m Begging for Help Now

To finally get answers, I must see an infectious disease specialist who can properly evaluate the possibility of long-term Lyme disease or another underlying condition.

But there is one heartbreaking barrier:

This specialist accepts cash only.

No insurance. No payment plans. No assistance.

And as someone living on SSI, barely able to cover rent and utilities, this cost is simply impossible for me to manage on my own.

I want to get better.

I want to walk without fear of falling.

I want my daughters to see their father strong, healthy, and alive.

But right now… I cannot do it alone.

I am not just fighting a disease I am fighting for my family.

I have five daughters who look up to me, depend on me, and need me.

They deserve a father who can show up for them.

A father who can work, move, laugh, and be present.

I pray every day for the strength to be that father again.
