Hello, my name is Tabitha, and I’m a proud mother of three amazing boys—ages 1, 3, and 8.
For the past four and a half years, we’ve been without a car. Despite the challenge, I’ve done my best to make things as comfortable and convenient as possible for my kids and me. Thankfully, we've managed—our bank and the grocery store are just down the street, my oldest son’s school is nearby and he has a school bus, and my job is accessible by the city bus.
However, we’re now facing a new challenge. This August, my middle son will be starting the Pre-K program. Unfortunately, last year, our public school system removed school bus transportation for all early childhood learning centers unless the child has special needs. The closest school available to us is about 15 minutes away by car. If we rely on public transportation, it would take over an hour and require two different buses. Sadly, this just isn’t a realistic or sustainable option for us, and we can't afford taxis or rideshares daily.
I’m reaching out with hope in my heart, asking for help from anyone willing to support us in any way possible. Whether it’s resources, advice, or assistance, we would be deeply grateful.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this.
With love,
Tabitha
