Hi, I'm Colleen, a mom to two amazing children and I’m reaching out for support during a deeply vulnerable time.

After surviving stalking and assault, my children and I were forced to leave our home. I can't share more than that, as there are ongoing legal proceedings. A friend generously opened their doors to us, and we’re currently renting a portion of their home—but it’s not a long-term solution. 

The space has stairs that are extremely difficult for my son Zeke, who lives with Spina Bifida. Every day, managing stairs puts his safety and independence at risk, and the emotional toll of our current situation continues to weigh heavily on all of us. I am also experiencing some medical challenges and carrying Zeke on the stairs to the bathroom for his daily medical procedure is taking a toll on my body. 

We need to move—again—but this time, we need it to be to a space that is truly safe, stable, and accessible.

As I am preparing for a legal trial this fall related to the assault, I am doing everything I can to support my children’s needs while navigating ongoing stress. But financially, the costs of another move are overwhelming, and we need your help to take the next step toward healing and stability.
